Old Lady Angel

Good Morning to you all.
Today is a new release for Sandra Caldwell stamps from Babycakesdnd.  I have to admit this one was so much fun to color and come up with a sentiment for.  My girlfriend and I were cruising facebook and found a good one for her.  I changed the wording a bit but still the same meaning.  I hope you like her as much as I do.  So without further ado here she is. "Old Lady Angel"

Isn't  she just wonderful?  I colored her with copics and the wall is a new embossing folder I got at Tuesday Morning and I just went over it with some distress inks to bring out the design.
You can find her at the Esty shop here.

So ladies and Gents till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Emma's Hat

Good afternoon to everyone.

I am posting for a challenge at SheepSki Design Challenges.  I just had to have this image when I was shopping at Andrea's store and decided to use it for the Anything goes Challenge this month.  I truly love images of ladies with hats on them, just can't resist them at all.  So this one I bought and printed this size and one in 5X7 to color and put in my Hat Lady journal and Yep got that too.

I think I might be just a bit addicted to the images of hats.  Anyway I colored this and did a few different flowers but fell in love with the black roses so that is what I used the smallest of the die cut flowers from Heartfelt creations.  Have I kept you in suspense long enough and do you want to see my latest creation?  Ok then I will show you.  Here she is. Emma's Hat by SheepSki Designs:  I added the green flourish for a pop of color to match her eyes.  I hope you like her as much as I do.  Thanks for stopping by to see my creation.

You can find the challenge here to play along it is Anything goes.  I hope you will come play along with us.

So till next time Happy Crafting all.

Old Lady Love Letter

Good morning to everyone.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their friends and family.  Things at my house were chaotic to say the least.  My hubby had back surgery on Dec. 21 so Christmas was put on hold till he got home.  Lots of running and little sleep for me but we made it through it.  He is home but not back to normal as of yet.  Progress has been slow but we are not 25 anymore.  I  haven't posted for a while as you can see.  I am trying to get caught up now. Enough about me and my family so on with the good stuff.

Today I am posting for Sandra Caldwell Stamps here:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/babycakesdnd.
Today or I should say the new release was January 12th (yep still a bit behind) and I am posting my image from the shop called "Old lady love letter" She is just adorable.  Here she is in all her glory.

You can find her and all the other images that Sandra has created in her shop from the link above.  I do hope you will go check out these wonderful images of hers.

I decided to make an easel card this time so the second one is showing that.  I colored her with copics and cut her out with a new die cut that I recently got.  I love how she turned out and hope you do as well.

Thanks for checking out my blog.
Have a great day and till next time Happy Crafting.

Christmas "Breeze"

Hey everyone I hope this post finds you all well and ready for Christmas as it is just a few days away.  Are you all ready?

I am posting today for Scrapbook Stamp Society and have chosen this wonderful image for a Christmas theme because I think she looks like Christmas Angle to me.  I was going to do her in white but thought that would be to bland so I chose some soft colors.  Something non traditional for sure.  She is a wonderful image that you can find in the Esty shop for Sherri Baldy here.
And I would like to invite you to come play along with us at the challenge as well and you can find that here
You have a chance to win some wonderful dig's stamps by Sherri.
I colored my image with copics and then mounted on the die cut that I made a hinged card out of.  She was pretty plain and I wanted bling on her so I hunted in my extensive stash till I came up with this one.  It seams to fit perfectly so this is what I used.  I then added some gems to different parts of the image to make it stand out.  Even though it is Christmas I wanted the word Love on there as that is what Christmas means to me.
So everyone Merry Christmas and since this is the last card for the year with Scrapbook Stamp Society I want to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year as well.  Stay safe and be  happy.

Till Next year Happy Crafting

Christmas

Hi Everyone I want to wish each and everyone visiting my blog this week a Very Merry Christmas!

It is a very busy time of year for all of us and I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and check out my corner of the world.
So today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society and our Christmas Images.  This image caught my eye as I wanted to see how I could make the snow sparkle for this image and I know you can't see it as well on the compute as you can in real life but I think I nailed it!  So here is my Selection for the Christmas Image. You can find this image in the Esty Shop by Sherri Baldy here.

Now isn't she just wonderful.  I love Sherri's images they are so adorable.  I used this card for my Christmas swap but my swap partner hasn't gotten it as I am posting this early so I don't know if she liked it or not.  My guess is she did, I know I would love it.  I have to make several more of these for some special people on my list.  I have a few of my Christmas cards made already but need lots more.  (now remember I am posting this earlier then December)  I do tend to get behind but swore this year I would be done on time.  I am almost to my goal so I am doing good.
I colored her with copis and for the snow to make them sparkle and look like it could be drifted I used Viva Pearl white pan and Glitter to make it sparkle.  Like I said you really can't see it on here though.    The bells I did with a silver pen and the snow flakes are cut with a cheap snowflake punch.  The holly is also a very small punch but thought it would look nice on here for some embellishments. My background paper is some I got from Michael's last year after Christmas on sale.  Love those sales and sure won' t have to go this year.
I do hope you will come play along in our Christmas Challenge here

Come on down to to our Facebook page and play along and you can get plenty of inspiration there as well.
So to you all Merry Christmas again an we will be back soon.
Happy Crafting all.

Christmas Tree

Good Morning to you all.  Today I am posting this wonderful image that I won from a Design Team Member at Creatful Heart and Digis Design.  I absolutely love this image and I have found some really wonderful ways of using it already.    So here it is:

I colored this image with copics and I masked it off to put the tree in the back.  As you can see it is a pretty versatile image  and it works great to have for a Man card too.

I want to enter this into the Challenge at the Createful Heart Digis and Design Christmas challenge this week.  They are doing a blog hop as well so come on down and join the fun.  Here is the link to the blog hop/Challenge

So till next time Happy Crafting all.

Pretty Lady Image 435

Hi everyone out there in Craft land.  Today is my day to remind to you go join in the fun at the Scrapbook Stamp Society challenge here.
This week our theme is All white card with a pop of color ( your image can be colored)  So this is my version of that theme.

I never realized how hard this challenge would be.  An All white card for me was like asking me not to color an image.  LOL  I chose a die cut to use behind her and then I put it through the cuddle bug with an embossing folder to give it some texture.  Once I put the image on there that I fussing cut so you could see the texture I was at a loss as to what else to do to make it look good.  I played with flowers and gems and stuff but nothing looked right to me so I did the bow and it just all came together.  I am sure if you make cards that has happened to you at some point.  I love this image (and most images with beautiful faces) and you can find her in the Esty shop along with tons of other wonderful images here.
You will need some time to go through all the images there and I bet you can't choose just one.  When I go I make sure I have at least an hour to spend cruising through all the images, but I have ton of Sherri's images so it is getting easier for me.

So everyone I want to wish you a day of Happy Crafting and hope to see you all at the challenge and again back here with my next post.  I love to read your comments so let me know what you think of my pretty lady please.

Lets Party!!

Hi everyone!  Who wants to party?  These ladies seem to be having a wonderful time don't you agree?
I am posting this week for Festive Friday Challenge over at the Outlawz here.

Each Friday we have a new set of 4 themes.  Christmas is always a choice so you can get your Christmas cards all done early if you choose.  However this week I couldn't resist using this image as it reminds me of me and and two of my friends.  However none of us Drink so I guess we would have to use something else. But we do like to party.
This image as always for Festive Friday is from Bugaboo and if you win you get to choose some images from there as well.  I colored the image with copics and I used eye shadow for the background to make it even more festive.  I distressed the background paper a bit and added some lace and a large button.  the decided to add the pearls as well.  I just love how this turned out and I am thinking I will use it for a birthday card for a friend.
I do hope you like it and will leave me a comment to let me know.  I do read each and every one of them.
So all till next week Happy Crafting to you all.

Well last time I posted for Sandra Caldwell Stamps I told you I would have a secret to tell you so stay tuned at the end of this post you will find out what that secret is.
Now on to the wonderful image for release this week.  This is a great way to get your Christmas cards done or started if you haven't yet.  He is one of the most adorable Reindeer's I have ever come across.  I have the perfect person for this card.  So without any more waiting here is "Reindeer Silly" by Sandra Caldwell.

Well here is My Reindeer Silly.  He looks so forlorn like Santa forgot to take him on the Midnight run for Christmas.  I just love Sandra's stamps and love that they are digital, my favorite kind of stamps.  I am getting a good start on my Christmas cards how about you?  I love to make my own and not buy the ones in the stores.  I have sold a few that I have made so I keep on making more.
I colored him with Copics and found these little embellishment in some of the brads I bought at a garage sale.  They are perfect for him.  I wanted to keep this one pretty simple as it needs to be sent in the mail to my brother in law who is a Mail man LOL
So come on down to the Esty store and checkout all the wonderful Images Sandra has to offer.  Here is the link to her store , so go have some fun.
So til next time everyone have a wonderful crafting day.

Pretty Lady Image 608

Well good morning to you all.  Today is my reminder day for you for Scrapbook Stamp Society challenge.
This week it is anything goes.  My image is Image 608 as you see in the title and you can find her in the Esty shop for Sherri  Baldy here.
Now when you go there you will have to fix yourself a cup of coffee or tea or something to drink because yo will be spending some time looking at all the wonderful creations that she has come up with.  Believe me I an never there less then an hour or more.   She has so many different images to choose from and some of her newest ones for Christmas are just so adorable, I know you will love them.  Ok now for my card. I colored her with my copics and then I this new die cut that I won  and love it so had to try it out.   She fit inside it perfectly so had to use it.  The edges are very delicate.  The die cut is just a bit bigger then the 4.25x5.50 card cut so she had to be put on a 5x7 card.  With so much space to fill I decided to use the holographic paper and make her stand out that way.  The I tried several different corners but ended up cutting my own out of the same card stock as the base card.  Still not enough I added the two red gems.  Once I had all that on I was satisfied.  I like the plain and simple cards some time with out a lot of embellishments.  I didn't put a sentiment on as I am not sure what I will use this one for yet.

I do hope you will come join the fun over at the challenge here.
You can find us on Facebook as well.  I hope to see you all over there playing along on the challenge so till next time Happy crafting!

Christmas Snoman

Hey everyone you want to go play in the Snow?  Well we have no snow here so I guess you will just have to play without me.  LOL  Anyway today I am posting the is wonderful image from Bugaboo for The Festive Friday Challenge over at the Outlawz Challenge site.  The have a new and different challenge each day that you can join in on.  Or you can pic a favorite and join just one or two it is totally up to you.  Each week Festive Fridays has 4 themes to choose from.  You get to pick which one you want to do .... This week as Christmas is fast approaching I decided to do the Christmas theme.   I seem to be getting closer to getting my cards for Christmas done.
Anyway this image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is just wonderful.  I cut him out to look like he is coming out of the card.  I really wanted to keep this one simple as it will go through the mail and at Christmas it is harder to send cards if they have anything standing up on them.  I have  had a few that got torn up as I didn't protect the front well enough so Now I make sure they get protected and don't put so many embellishments on the Christmas cards.
You can find this and many other wonderful images at the Bugaboo website here. So grab a cup of what ever and go spend some time looking around.
And you can find our challenge here on the Outlawz along with all the other challenges. I sure hope to see you all join in the fun with us.  Lots of wonderful inspiration as well.  Plus we have a facebook page too so come on and join us there as well.
So til next time happy crafting to you all.

#1921 Little Christmas Elfie

Good Morning everyone.  Today I am posting for Sandra Caldwell Stamps.
This little lady is called "Little Christmas Elfie and you can find her in the shop on Esty here.
Please take a minute and go check out the store.  Sandra has  very whimsical art and I love it.  It is fun to color and to come up with the design that I think will go best with the image I am working on.   I am in the process (yes and a little late getting started) with my Christmas cards so this one is gonna be right up there at the top to send to someone special.  I sure hope you like her.
Now without further ado here is Little Christmas Elfie
TADA
Now isn't she just the most adorable little sparkly Elf you have ever seen?  I know you can't see the sparkle on this image but rest assured it is there.  Her hat is sparkly and I love how this has turned out.  I decided to put the bow on an angle to go with the image. As I said before they are whimsical and I love to play around with different pieces to make them the best I can.   I love the challenge of doing just that.  The gems are another touch that I have never done on top of  ribbon but it just seemed to call out for them.  More magical  for the time of year.  I do hope you like my sweet image and will leave me some love to what you think of her.
So for now have a wonderful crafting day and see you next week with another wonderful release, so come on back next week for another one of Sandra's wonderful images.  I do hope I have Inspired you to color up some of these wonderful images.  And next time I will share a little secret with you.  So stay tuned.
