Now last but not least I made my card for my grand daughter for her next Ballet Recital and so I kept it pretty simple as she is only 8.  I colored it with copics and kept the embellishments to just the two swirls that are actually brads.  I used eye shadow on the back ground to keep it soft looking.  Pretty simple but I think very pretty.  I know she will love it.  So folks that is it for me for today but before I go I do want to invite you all to go play in our challenge today.

Spring/ Jasmine

Hi everyone.  I am so happy it is spring time here in Florida.  Sunshine and a nice breeze today.

Today I am posting one of my favorite images for many reasons. You can find this beauty here in the Esty Shop.   First she is so beautiful and second she has all my favorite colors.  Why you ask?  Well our Design Team Theme at Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge is Favorite color.
And as you can probably tell my favorite color is green.  And Green of any shade will do.  This one is all yellow greens and I love how she turned out.   When I like them this much they never get used or sold.  LOL  Any of you ever have that with your creations?  I know I have a few that I can't give up.
I colored her with copics and the glittler pens for the swirls in the background.
The black swirls are from Recollections, and the flowers are a stamp and die cut from Heartfelt Creations called Ariana Blooms.  One of my favorite flowers too.  I used distress ink on them and shaped them with my shaping tool from Heartfelt Creations as well.  The polka dot paper is just a scrap that I found in my scrap box so it looked good so I used it.

Our theme for the month is Ribbons and Lace so if you want to join in you need to follow this Theme.
Our Challenge is here.

We have a facebook challenge as well and a challenge there to if you choose to play along with us there.
We have some great ladies there so come join the fun.

Coffee Time

Good Morning to you all.  I have had my coffee and I hope you have yours near by and are enjoying it.  I do love my coffee.
Today the sponsor for our challenge is Digistamps4Joy and this wonderful image is drawn by Margy.  I love her images they are always so useful.  I can think of a ton of ways to use this image.  The sentiment comes with the image as well as one other.

Here is some information on our sponsor for today.  The prize that is being given away this week from Digistamps4Joy is a $10.00 voucher to their store.
Since 2010, Digistamps4Joy (or DS4J) - a unique South African online digistamp store – has been providing you with fabulous digistamps that are cute, whimsical, artistic, sometimes serious, and often humorous. The store has verified PAYPAL facilities for our international clients, as well as PAYFAST and EFT for our South African customers.   You are welcome to enter our monthly card challenges on our Blog at and of course “like” our Facebook page at where you will receive regular updates on our activities.

This is for a challenge at Through The Craft Room Door Anything goes challenge here
I do hope you will come down and join in the fun.  Our challenges run from Tuesday to Tuesday each week so you still have time to join in the fun.
Now let me tell you how I made my card.  The background was so much fun. I do love to experiment with different backgrounds.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and used my Stampin-up ink and an large brush and just swiped the brush over till I got the colors the way I wanted them. ( I did wet the paper first and also used some water with the inks as well.)  I let it dry then cut out my images as I wanted to stack them on top of each other.  I colored each of them differently as you can see and used copics to do that.  I had my sister in mind when I made this card and it ended up being her birthday card.  She is so into the coffee and the french vanilla creamer I knew she would love this.  I had a the other sentiment ready but dropped ink on it and ruined it so had to go with this one.  Good thing I always print more then one at a time when I print.  LOL  The two red enamel dots I made my self by melting Pony beads, it is a lot cheaper then buying them already made.

Well this is it for today so I do hope you will come join the fun and play along with us this week.  We do have a weekly challenge and it is always Anything goes.

So til next time Happy Crafting all

Endless Waiting

Hi Everyone.  Today is my day for your inspiration for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  My image is called "Endless Waiting " and you can find her in the Esty Store here.  She is a new one and she is stunningly beautiful, in my opinion.
I have colored her with my copics and wanted to keep every thing soft and pastel in the image so as to make her stand out on the card that I made.    Our theme this month is Ribbon and Lace so as you can see I used both.  The lace is from some I found at a garage sale and the ribbon was bought for me by a friend. The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations called Ardiana Booms and I shaped them with the flower shaping tool kit they sell.  I inked them with distress inks and added some glitter.  The back ground paper is a scrap that I found that looked good so used that too.  The base card is the shinny paper they have out now;  At least it is new to me. The leaves behind the flowers are from a sizzix die cut.  I do love how this one turned out and hope you do as well and will leave me a comment.  I do read them all.  Thanks for visiting my blog.  Hope you all h ave a wonderful day.

I sure hope you will all come down and play along this month in our challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamps here.  Just remember the theme is Ribbon and Lace.

Live Laugh Love Rose Block

Well Good morning to everyone here.
I have to say that this is one of my favorite cards that I have made recently.  It was fun to color and I love the background.  I made it a long time ago and it is called the Bokah technique and fit the color scheme so I used it.  The scroll at the top is a die cut I got from an RAK and the only one I have..  Th butterfly is a die cut that I got from a friend.  The base card is a pink color that matched the pink in the background.  I wanted to keep it simple because the image is the focal point on this one.
You can find this image on the Bugaboo site here.
I made this card for our Anything Goes Challenge at Through The Craft Room Door here

The prize this week is a $12.00 voucher to purchase what ever images you want from their site.  What a great prize...

Well Good morning to you all.
Today  I am posting this sweet little lady  by Sandra Caldwell.   This is the image I chose to use so I could sent it to some of my "old" friends.  I have made 3 different cards with this one so far.

So folks till next time Happy Crafting.

Under the Sea

Good Morning to you all.
Thanks for coming to my Blog to check out my creations.
My image today is by Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and you can find that website here
I love how she turned out, and Ching-Chou is a fantastic artist and I love her images.
The Theme this month for our challenge is"UNDER THE SEA".  I do hope you will come and join us this month and make a card to play along.  It doesn't have to be a card it can be anything but if you use an CCK image you get two chances to win.  Our bog  is here for you to come join in and maybe mark it as your favorite and come back each month.
My image was colored with copics,  On the background of the image I used some eye shadow and pan pastels to do the color of the sea. .  The background is a piece of aluminum foil and run through an embossing folder then I dropped different colors of alcohol inks.  I just let it dry and then cut a bit smaller then the base card.  I cut some what I call seaweed die cuts  from sizzix of different colors.  The I got some small shells from the beach and added those too for the final embellishment.

I do hope you will come join in our challenge this month.

Till next time Happy Crafting to you all and I hope you have a wonderful day!!
