Aloha from Hawaii

Well welcome to my little corner of the world.  I have been pretty busy in my craft room lately.  This is one of the cards that I have done.  It is called Aloha girl.  I do believe she is so beautiful.  I would love to go to Hawaii someday but not sure if that will ever happen. But it is on my bucket list anyway.

This beauty is from Imagine That by Kris.  Here is her site address:  I sure hope you will pop over and check out her images they are just so adorable.  She does hers in sets.  You get line drawings and colored images and sentiments with all.  Some sets she even includes digi papers to use.  How cool is that.  I love digi papers cause I don't have to store them anywhere but on here.  My craft room is so full and not a lot of room for storage so digi papers are great.  Plus you never run out of the ones you love.  I colored her with my copics and cut the background doily with my new Martha Stewart punch.  I inked the edges to give it some definition and added the bling that I bought at the scrapbook expo this year.  The sentiments are some of the ones you get with the set.  I sure hope you like my pretty little Hula girl.  If you do please leave me some love to let me know you were here and if your not a follower I hope you will become one and leave me your addy and I will come follow you as well.
     Happy Crafting to you all.

Good evening /morning to you all.  It is evening here but who knows what time it is where your at reading this.  I just wanted to promote this new challenge blog for Karleigh Sue Here: .  I am going to go for the Dt position on here and see if I can make it.  If not then I will try another time.  I think her images are adorable and I did color one that she gave as a free digi on her face book page.  And this is the address for her esty store:  I hope you will all go check out her store and purchase some of the adorable digi's she is offering.  She has been adding to the store a lot and I am sure will be adding more as she goes.  She is a new Artist for me and I am not sure how long she has been doing this but I can see she is very talented.  So won't you all go see what she has?
I am not sure how to add her banner here but I have added the link for the challenge and here is the image I colored as the digi.

This was colored with copics and mounted on to dp that I got at a garage sale the flower was cut with my cameo and the flourishes are some pieces left over from other cuts on my cameo.  I waste nothing.  LOL  So please come play along at the Challenge it starts soon.

Happy Crafting all.

Butterfly Thank you

Hey everyone I sure hope your having a great day.  It is a beautiful sunny day in South Florida, and a very hot one as well.  Thank goodness for AC or I would be looking for a pool somewhere.
On to my card,  it is a simple black and white card I made for a class that I did.  I used a sketch I found on pinterest as a guide.  It is all white paper and I stamped the thank you before I embossed it with the dotted swiss embossing folder.  The bottom of the small piece I embossed with a border embossing folder of dotted swiss.  I added the ribbon to add some interest to it.  The stamps are both from Stampin-up given to me by a great friend. Simple but elegant card.  I am very pleased on how it turned out.  I hope you like it as well.  Happy Crafting all.

A Note Card

Good morning to all you crafters.  Today is a day for my "Note" card.  This is one I will be doing with my class for the week of Aug 21 st.  It is pretty simple and easy to do.  I like it but to be honest I think it is a bit dull looking.  Maybe different papers would have helped but it looked ok when I did it.  Have you ever had that happen to you, make a card and like it when you make it then look at it the next day an say what was I thinking?  Well it has finally happened to me.  LOL  I like the design and will try it in different colors someday.  Who knows maybe I will like it then.  Well I can be off a day once in a while too I guess.  Well there it is in a nut shell folks we all make mistakes now an then and I am not afraid to admit it.  Have a great day!!

My pretty Ladybug

Good morning to you all!!  I am posting this adorable ladybug for all today.  I love these little bugs (hence my blog name!  LOL)  But really I do like them.  This is one from a set that I had from Imagine That by Kris.  I just think they are the cutest bugs around.  The paper behind the bug is a digital paper that I printed an had not used yet.  The sentiment is from the set as when you buy the images from Imagine That you get the sentiments too and that is really helpful for me as I don't have a lot of regular stamps ( they take up a lot of room in my small craft area so I only have a few)  I used bakers twine on the card as well as two new embellishments that I got at the expo.  If your like me or even if your not and like my little ladybug here is the address for Imagine That so you can go buy this set.  I do hope you will go check out the store.  Kris also has a progressive challenge each month.  If you buy the stamp that is the challenge stamp and use it for the challenge you get the next month free and will continue to get the month free as long as you play and use the stamp that you get free.  It is a wonderful way to get new digi stamps and Kris is very talented and has wonderful digi's to work with.  There are times when she includes digi papers as well and has just some digi papers to buy.  I like to get digi papers cause I can always print what I need.  I hope to see some of you over at the Challenge at Imagine that.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Elephant Birthday

Well Hello all you crafter's out there in the craft world.  I hope your having a craft-tastic day...

Today I am posting my sweet little elephant from Imagine That by Kris here:  She has the most adorable images to use.  This one is great for a child's birthday party.  It comes with a line drawing of all the different images in the set and also a color image of each of the images in the set.  There are sentiments with this one as well.  I have used a colored image a couple of time but mostly I use the line drawing and color it.  I do love to color.  I cut the corners to be round and the papers behind the image as well.  I colored this little guy with my copics pens.  I added the stars for bling and put the sentiment on the side so as not to cover the image.  This is a smaller card then I normally do but I am going to make a set of note cards this size and this will be the first of the set.  They will all be birthday cards so  one of the  images that will be in the set will also be on the top of the box.  I hope you will jump over to Imagine that by Kris and pic up some sets that she has to offer.  They are all sets and you even get papers with some of the sets so how cool is that?  Well happy crafting and I hope you will become a follower if your not already and leave me some love.

Sweet Magnolia

Good morning to you all.  Today I have am posting a card for a challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge here:  I colored her with copics and mounted her onto a card that was cut from the largest Grand  Nestabilities die cut.  Then I added the strip on the side which I got at Hobby Lobby and the flower is cut from a fiskars punch.  I love to color these images and want each and everyone of them. I tried to keep this one simple as it was to be sent in the mail.  I have quite a few now and they make people smile when they get a card with these images on them.  Well this is it for me for today I have a class to teach so need to get set up.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Hey everyone.  Today I am just posting a pic of my card that I will be doing with my class this week.  I bought this embossing folder a while ago but couldn't find the correct image to go with it.  But when I put the butterfly on it I knew I found it.  I love the  way it looks.  It is a large butterfly but that is ok I still like it.  The smaller butterfly I have is to small so it was this or some other image and I like this die cut.  I took the cut out part of his wing to use at the top for corners.  I know my girls will love it.  I have a new girl starting this week and she is really new to card making so decided to do some simple but elegant cards.  I hope you like this one and will leave me some love.  Happy Crafting!!

Hi everyone hope your day is a beautiful one.  It is hot here in sunny South Florida but better hot then freezing cold.
Today I am posting for Tuesday Throwdown challenge
here:  It is all about our furry friends.  I chose this adorable dog named Konas from Oak Pond here:  They have some really adorable images to play with so I hope you will all go to see what is there.  I colored my image with copics and rounded the edges.  I then mounted it onto some designer paper that I found in my scrap pile.  It was the perfect fit for this card, and don't you just love it when that happens.  I used some dark brown ribbon on the side and the sentiment is one that I got on a card from Joanne's for $1.00 and the name was on another part of it and is gone so I have no idea what company it is from.  I hope you like my little doggie.  I am not all that good with coloring animals and it is a real challenge for me but I got thro it and printed him several more times to practice with.
I hope you will come down to the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week and play along.  We do offer some great prizes for your creations if you win.   Playing is so much fun and you meet others who love to do the same.  Each team member does a card to inspire you and they are all unique to each team member so you get lots of inspiration to do your own card.  Hope to see you there.  Happy  Crafting and good luck.

Miss Ballerina

Well now isn't she just wonderful??  I love this image as my grand daughter is working on becoming a Ballerina and I made this just for her.  This image is from Imagine That by Kris and you can check out her images here.  I am a guest designer on her team for the summer and she gives us sets to use.  She sells her images in sets.  You will get a color image or two and a line drawing and sentiments.  Sometimes she puts papers in as well.  You can't beat that for sure.  I colored this little beauty with copics and mounted her on pink glitter paper.  The rick rack is from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment is one that comes with the image.  I sure hope you will go over to Imagine That and check out her images.  Thanks for looking and I hope you will become a member and return soon.  I love to get love and read each and everyone of them.  Happy Crafting all.

Queen Ann's Lace

Good Morning all you wonderful peeps.  Today I am posting for Imagine that By Kris. I am a guest designer for her and she generously gives us images to use for the site.   She has some amazing images for you to use.  If you go here: you can check out her store.  She does sets so you get colored images and line images sometimes she gives papers and you get sentiments to go along with it.  I just love this image it is called Queens Lace and I think it is just beautiful.  I printed this one paper that has a lavender swirl in it already and this picture sure doesn't do it justice as it is so beautiful.  (LOL even if I say so myself.)  I used copics to color this and mounted it on a die cut that I truly love.  I do use it a lot.  I didn't add any bling as I felt that the image was enough and wanted it to be the center of attention.  I hope you will go check out the images by Kris.  She is a very talented lady.  Thank you all for stopping by to see my latest creations.  There will be lots more to follow as well so if your interested you can become a follower and you will see when I post more cards.  Thanks for looking and hope to see you back someday!!

Happy Crafting all.

Happy Days

Good Bright and Sunny Morning to you all.  What a beautiful day we have here in sunny south Florida.  Today I am posting for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge  Mellow Yellow "Use Yellow as your main color".  This adorable image is from Robyns Fetish.  It just makes my heart sing it is so cute.  I hope it makes you smile.  I colored my pretty little flower with copics and used a glitter pen on the little marks beside it.  I cut it out with a spellbinder die and the big butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch that I punched twice and pop dotted together for demention.  The smaller butterflies are a Stampin-up die cut and I use it all the time.  The ribbon is from my stash and the last of that color chevron.  I think I got this one (ribbon) from a garage sale.  The sentiment is from another set of stamps.  I mounted it on bright Yellow for the challenge and used a cut for Brick for the background for some color.  If you go to Robyn's Fetish here: you can find a whole ray of wonderful fun digi stamps.  Who doesn't love to color.  Thanks for dropping by my blog I sure appreciate it an hope you will browse and leave me some love while your hear.  I read each and everyone of them and thank you all ahead of time.  Happy Crafting.

My Little Blue Fairy

Hello all you sweet crafters.  Today I am posting for a challenge at TSC  here:   anything goes.  This is an adorable image by them.  I colored her with copics and mounted her on a card cut with a spellbinders grand caliber die.  the background paper is just teal card stock and each of the corners was notched with a hole punch.  The image side was punched with a fiskars border punch.  The bling is from Want to scrap.  I added the gems to her wings from the tail of the bling.  I hope you like my little Blue Fairy.  I really do like the way she turned out.  Happy Crafting all.
