Snowflake Imprint

Hi Everyone,  I hope your day is just as wonderful as mine has been.  It is sun-shining and beautiful out however we are due to get more rain later today.
Today is my day for some inspiration for you from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.  My image is called "Snowflake Imprint"  I was going to make her into a Christmas card but I had this flower laying on my craft table and wanted to use it so this is what I came up with.  Maybe the next card I make with this image will be a Christmas card.  I have a tendency to not follow the rules sometimes.  But hey are there rules when it  comes to Art and Crafts?  I think not well not for me anyway. LOL
Our  team theme for this week is Anything goes so that is why I did this.  I colored her with my copics and used eye shadow for the muted back ground.  (when I use a background like that I usually spray it with hair spray to set it so it doesn't come off.  A light coat is all you need to use do not saturate the paper as it will curl up badly.) I love this flower so I decided I need to use it.  It is from Heartfelt Creations and has the die cut to match.  My girlfriend gave this to me as a gift an I use it alot.  It is so easy to make it look totally different with different colors.

Our challenge theme this month is "Pearls and Lace" and I would like to invite you to come down to the challenge site and play along.  You have til the end of the month to do so.  You do not need to use one of these images but if you do you get two chances to win.  Here is the link for the challenge site:

And we  have a facebook challenge as well and I can put the link for that here too:

So grab your coffee or what ever you drink and come take a look and join in the fun with all the other wonderful crafters.

Camelias Empress

Well how is everyone this morning.  Well actually it is afternoon here but I should have had this done this morning.  Instead I went to watch my grand son play LaCrosse in Wellington, Fl.
This beauty is called Camelias Empress.  She is a stunning image and so much fun to color. You can find her and so many more beautiful images at the MoonFlower Esty Shop here:  I hope you will go check out the shop and see all the wonderful images that she has for sale.
I had a hard time deciding what colors to use to make her look elegant.  I think I found the ones that suited me.  She is colored with my copic's. I mounted her on some paper from Heartfelt Creations and the used a border punch to do one side.  the others I added the flowers and they are from Recollections by Michael's. The black swirls are cut from my cricut.  I added a lot of glitter  pen to the gems on her head and outfit.
I hope you like my card and will leave me a comment on it.  I do read each and everyone of them.  So till next month I hope you have a wonderful day and happy crafting.

The Mill

Good morning to you all.  This image is a freebie that I got from TLC and decided to see what I could do with it so I am going to use it for Fathers Day for my hubby.  I was not sure how it was gonna turn out but I think I am pretty pleased with it.  I showed hubby the image after I colored it to see what he had to say about it and he liked it so now I go ahead and make the card into a fathers day card for him (no he does not know what it is for).

I did enjoy this one and have some classes with Kit and Clowder to finish with background so now I don't feel so intimidated by them.

I hope you liked my card today and will leave me a comment on what you think of it.  I do read them all. I see lots of people stop by but not a lot of comments so I am hoping that if you know I do read them all you will not be afraid to tell me what you think.

Till next time Happy Crafting.

One and Only Heart

Hi everyone, I hope this post finds you all well and  happy
Today is week two at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and this is my choice for this week.  The name of this image is "One and Only Heart". You can find this wonderful image at the Esty shop here:
Our team theme for this week is "Use Buttons" so I used two on the corner pieces.  The corner pieces are cut from a suede piece of paper that I got from Paper Wishes catalog.  It is thicker then most papers so was a bit harder to cut but turned out fantastic.  I love the look of these corner pieces.  They are a spellbinders die.  I colored her with my copics and added her to some coordinating papers also from Paper Wishes.
Our Theme of the month of June at the website is "Pearls and Lace" if you want to hop over and play along with us that would be fantastic we would love to have you.  here is the link to our Challenge page.
We have a facebook page as well to play along with and you can find that here
So all till next week Happy Crafting to you all.

Gigi Mermaid

Hi Everyone!!  Hope your all well today.  I am posting for MoonFlower Digital stamps today .  This little sweet mermaid is called Gigi.  She can be found in the Esty shop here:  There are many wonderful images to choose  from so grab your coffee and go check it out.

I colored her with my copics and did her background with eye shadow from the dollar store.  Love that stuff it is so pretty and easy to use, You must seal it when done and I use a small squirt of hair spray to do that.  I mounted her on some patterned  paper from Recollections from Michael's.  The base card is a hinged card and the cut is a spellbinders die.  Not a lot of embellishments just a bow and some sequins,  as this is for my grand daughter who loves all Mermaids.

I hope you will check out the blog for inspiration here: and also our Facebook page here:  Come and meet the Design team and all the wonderful followers that we have.
So till we meet again next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Fathers Day

Hey everyone.  I just wanted to share with you a card I made for my hubby's birthday which is coming up soon.  The image is one from Imagine That by Kris and I used copic's to color it.  The sky is done with eye shadow for the blues and I sprayed it a bit with hair spray to seal the eye shadow so it doesn't smear.  I love this image and use it alot.  You can get this and I believe a whole set of images and sentiments to go with it at:

Kris is very talented and has some wonderful images.  I love her images for little boys.  I didn't decorate this to much as it is for hubby and he even saw me coloring it and said it was great, he doesn't know it is for his birthday. LOL    I did do the inside with a sentiment but didn't photograph that, to personal.

Well thanks for stopping by and hope you will leave me a comment on my card.  I do read them all.

Till next time happy crafting.

Orchid in Spring

Good Morning to all my wonderful followers.
Today my post is for Ching--Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.  She is Called Orchid in Spring and she is for our monthly challenge.  This month our Theme is " Pearls and Lace".
The challenge page for you to play along with us is here:

I chose this image for the flowers that remind me of Spring.  My favorite thing is to color flowers of any kind and to see if I can make them look real.  I have lots of Orchids and one this color and love it.  I used that for my color scheme.  The lace is from my stash and think it looks like a petal for a flower. (not an Orchid petal tho)  I used copics to color her and mounted her on a doily and a circle cut from my spellbinders die cut.  (The side step card is one I learned to do from Christina from Card making magic.  So simple you make a reg card 5x7 the decide where you want your image and cut next to it half way done then fold both ways and push to the center and you have a step card with no measuring. I thought it was so simple I had to try it and it works like a charm!)

You can find this image at the Esty shop along with so many other beautiful images to choose from and here is the link to the store for you to go check it out! :
This link will take you directly to this image then you can go browse the rest of the shop.
I would like to invite you to our facebook page as well as we have challenges there too for everyone.  Please some on down and join in the fun here as well.  Lots of inspiration and great ladies.

So till next time all HAPPY CRAFTING TO YOU...

Good Morning to you all.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
I love this image and I got it from Paola digi's.  She gave this as a freebie. It is a different image for me but I love  coffee so I was drawn to them.  I have a quite a few images by Paola and love them all.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Happy Crafting to you all.

Quote in Frame

Good Morning to you all.  I just wanted to pop in here and show you some mixed media that I have been playing with.  This is a very light weight frame that I got from Michaels and I used a sparkle spray paint on it.  It was the first time that I have ever used this spray and was shocked at how bright it was.  It is VERY PINK!  I colored this quote to match the frame and mounted it in the center.  The hearts are some strips from Hobby Lobby that I got long ago and forgot I had.  Which tells me I need to reorganize my cabinet so I know what is there instead of buying more.  Funny thing is my Husband is an enabler as every time we pass one of the craft stores he asks if I need something and what can a girl say to that?  Yes of course I do.  But I have to say lately I have said NO as I need to reorganize what I have first.  I have been working on some Hat Ladies by Rick St. Dennis for my bathroom to put into frames so that has taken me some time  as well.

Any way I made this for my pay it forward friend, now just need to figure out how to send it to her as she lives in NC and, I need to make sure it doesn't get broken as it is not the sturdiest of woods.  But I will get it to her.

I hope you like my gift for my friend and you will leave me a comment.  I see lots of people look at my blog but not leave comments and I just want you all to know I read everyone of them.  Thanks for Looking and have a wonderful crafting day!!!

As always

Its all about Love

Wow I can't believe it is the third week of the month already.  Time sure does fly by quickly.
Today is my day for inspiration for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.  This one is called "Its all about Love"  I have a hard time deciding what images I like best as I seem to love them all.  This is one that would work so for so many different occasions.  You can find this image at the Esty shop here:  I hope you will go check out the store and I promise you will find lots of images to love.

I colored her with copics and this is the first time I have done a dress in Gray and I love how it tuned out.  The flowers are from recolections and the swirls are cut from my cricut.  She is mounted of a scrap of trouqouise
glitter paper I found in my scrap pile.  It matched so well.

I also would like to invite you to join us on Facebook too.  We have challenges there that you can join in on.  The address for that is here for your convenience:

Butterfly Wild Flower Life

Good morning to you all.  I posting to day for Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamps.  This beauty is called Butterfly Wild Flower Life.  You can find her here at the Esty Shop:

I think she is just so beautiful and I love how she turned out.  I used her to cheer up a friend that has been under the weather for a while.  I colored her with my copics and mounter her onto some shimmer paper but it really doesn't show in the photo.  The second layer is a very light pink to show off there wings.  The extra  butterflies are a die cut from Stampin up.  I use this die cut a lot as it embosses and cuts at the same time and they are a wonderful size.  Our theme for this week was Pink or Blue but I chose to do both colors on this image.  I think she is beautiful.
I do hope you like her and will leave me a comment.

Ching-Chou Kuik has a facebook page for challenges as well and you can find us here:  I do hope you will join in both challenges and have some fun .
So till next week happy crafting you to you all.

Yorkshire Terrier

Well good morning to you all.  Today is my day for inspiration at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and this is the image I chose for the monthly challenge.  It is called Yorkshire Terrier and what a great image it is.  I would like to invite all my crafting friends to come join us this month for the challenge.  The Theme this month is "Dog or Cat"
You can find the challenge here: http:

I colored this beautiful image with my copics and cut her our with a spellbinder die and the gold glitter paper she is mounted on is cut with  the next biggest die from the same set.  The base card is some that I got from a friend that was cleaning out her stash and it fit perfectly with my theme.  The word love is a punch from I believe fiskars.  I am not sure as a different friend has the punch and punched a bunch for me to use.  The gems and flower are from my stash.  I do hope you like my card and will leave me a comment on it.  I read all comments and they make me so happy.

If you are on facebook we have a facebook challenge as well so come on down and join us there too.
Well crafters till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Gina Caribe

Good Morning to you all..  Today I am showcasing my image from MoonFlower Digi Stamps.  Her name is Gina Caribe and the newest creation by Andreia Silva.  She is a wonderful artist and I hope you will hop over to her site and check out the images she has for sale.  Her is the link

I colored her with copics and mounted her on three different colors of pink.  The pale background is done with eye shadow and I love the soft look it gives.  I got two different packages of colors at the dollar store and you really can't get anything cheaper then that.  I love the colors I got and will keep my eye our for more they are so fun to use.  The flowers are from Michaels and are  recollections I believe.  The die cut (leaves) are from spellbinders.  You can see much of them but they are very delicate and very pretty.  I hope you like my card and will leave me a comment as I do read them all.  So till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Dalmatian Cuddle

Well hello again.  So happy you came back to see my creations.  Today is inspiration day for me at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps blog.  This pretty little lady is call Dalmatian Cuddle.  When I printed the images for the month I printed all of them so I colored them all but this one turned out so cute that I decided to use it on the kraft paper anyway.  The Challenge for us is "Anything Goes" so it fits and that is what matters.  I really like how she turned out.  Unfortunately at this time the image is not available.  I colored this image with prisma colored pencils.  The butterflies are a Stamp-n up die cut and one I use a great deal.  The pearls are from Michaels.  I dol like how this one turned out.

You can find our Challenge blog to play along with this months theme of "Use Kraft Paper"  here:  So come on down and join us in the fun.  We also have a facebook page to play along with challenges as well. And that address is here:   I sure hope to see you all there.

So till then have a wonderful day and happy crafting to you all!!!
