Well good morning to each and everyone of you!!  What a beautiful day it is here in Sunny South Florida.  My DT post for today is called "Longing" by Ching-Chou Kuik.  She is so beautiful and reminded me of summer so I chose the greens to color her in.  Of course my favorite color is green but that really had nothing to do with the choice. :)
The site address for Ching-Chou Kuik blog is

I colored her with copic and did the muted background with Pan pastels.  I am pretty new to them and am just learning but it sure is fun to do.  I suggest if you have a friend that has them give them a try before you buy them.  They are a lot of fun to use however.  One of my friends on the facebook page for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps told me about them and encouraged me to try them and I am so glad I did.  I tried to coordinate the papers with the image to give it an elegant look as she looks elegant to me.  I layered the image and then used foam dots to give it some demention then I added the bling to the right side and the gems to the corners for more bling.  I sure hope you like my card and will leave me some love to let me know you have been here.

If your not already a follower I would love for you to follow me and leave me a note to let me know you have been here to see me and I will come follow you as well.  So till next week!!!!

Happy Crafting to you all

Whoopsie Baby

Good Morning all.   My image is from Whoopsiedaisy digis.  She is just adorable.  I colored her with copics and love how she turned out.  I cute the back ground with a new spellbinders die cut and the flowers are from fiskars punches.  The swirl is also a spellbinders die cut.  The bow is my ribbon,  made with my homemade bow maker that my hubby made for me and I added a button to hide the knot.  I sure hope you like my pretty girl I know I love the way she turned out and like the new die cut that I bought!    Happy Crafting all.

Trash Can Cats

Hello all,  I  used the Trash Can Cats for this one and you can find it at Oak Pond Creations here:  I colored my cats with copics and the back ground is done with pan pastels.  I put this one together to be fairly simple to go with the sketch.  I cut the border out with a Martha Stewart punch.  I wove the ribbon through the border to match the base card and glued that to the great and blue background papers.  I added the sentiment from my stash which I have had for over a year. It is a pretty clean and simple card.     Happy Crafting all.

I would like to enter this card into the Through the craft room door challenge anything goes here.

Good evening to you all.  I am posting today with a cute little froggie from the Outlawz monthly progressive challenge.  I don't do animals often and rarely do frogs as I am not real fond of them.  But this one is only paper so figured if I wanted to get my next image I had no choice so here "she is."  I have a friend (yeah I do have a couple good ones too!) that loves frogs so this will be for her.

I colored it with copics and used my embossing folder with the tree on it and inked that with distress inks to make it stand out.  The weeds are from Stampin-up and I used the distress inks here as well.  Since I color more then stamp I don't have a lot of colors of inks just the basic ones.  These inks actually came from a garage sale so I got them.  The sentiment is from I believe TLC. but won't swear to it.     It is pretty simple because I never know what to do with animals LOL.  I hope you like my frog and will come over to the challenge here: and play along you will have to be friends with the ladies to get your image if your not already a member of the group but from then on your good to go.

Under the Sea

Good Morning all!  Today is my day for the Inspirational post and I am posting this beautiful image by Ching-Chou Kuik.  The image is "Exotic Ocean Fantasy and our challenge for this month is Under the Sea.  You can buy these images here:  So, if your so inclined come grab an image or two and play along with us.  You don't have to use a Ching-Chou Kuik image but if you do you get two entries into the challenge and a better chance to win. Even if you choose not to use a Ching-Chou Kuik image you still need to follow the theme "Under the Sea".

She has been colored with copics but I did the background in chalks as it seems to be easier that way for me and I am new at it.  Not sure it looks like water but I have to say after the second try this is a lot better then the first time.  I used a cut out for the background and added some pearls for bling.  Wanted to keep this one simple and thought the background was enough to make it stand out.

I invite you to come play along with us at Ching-Chou Kuik Challenges this month here:  So have fun and follow the theme and come win some fantastic images by Ching-Chou Kuik.

Happy Crafting!

Happy Easter

Hi Everyone it is the time to post of the Challenge Just Inspirational and this is my card for the monthly challenge "Easter".

My image is by PPinkyDolls here: and I hope you will hop over there when your done and check them out.  She has some amazing images for sale.

I colored my image called "Friends Forever" with copic's and mounted it on a kinda rust colored card.  I used Reflections background paper in green to pick up the green in the image.  I put a ribbon and a small bow on for bling and I used a viva bright yellow for the dots.  It is a simple card but I do simple cards for kids as they tend to pull the embellishments off and stick them in there mouths.  So Simple for Kids is my rule.  I sure hope you will come down and play along with us this month as Easter is just around the corner and you probably have a few cards you could enter into our challenge.  It is here: and now you have the link so no excuses so come play.

Happy crafting to you all and good day to you till next time.

My Sailmate

Today my post is for Imagine That by Kris.  She has two sets this month for you and they are perfect for a man or for children.  I am using the top one for a get well card of sorts.  You can find these sets here:  These sets also have papers with them and some of them are on the top card.  I love the plaid paper and the yellow is like a sun burst.  I am sure you won't be disappointed in the art by Kris.  She is a great artist and sells her images in sets so you get a lot of your money.  She sells worldwide as well so go check her out you will be amazed at what you see.  This is a progressive challenge as well so if you haven't done it before you can buy this set and get the next months free as long as you play in the challenge.  So come on down and play.  Till the next time Happy Crafting.

Anything with Wheels

Well Hello all you wonderful crafters.

Today I am posting for Just Inspirational Challenges.  Our theme this week is anything with Wheels.  My image is from The Stamping Boutique:  Here  You will find some fun and amazing images here so I suggest you go check them out.

I colored my image with Copics of course and cut it out with a spellbinders die cut.  The back ground polka dot paper is from my stash and the cover is gone so not a clue who it is by.  The Sentiment is from my stash as well as are the buttons.  Sorry guys I tend to throw away the covers and such so never can remember who they are made by.

I hope you will come join us this week at Just Inspirational Challenges and play along with us.  You can find us here;  Happy Crafting to you all.

Happy Easter

Good Morning to all you crafters out there.  Today will be my last posting for Tuesday Throwdown Challenges.  I had to think long and hard about stepping down from here.  I have so many things going on in my life right now and I am having trouble keeping up and didn't want to mess anyone up so I decided to step down to give someone else a chance to do the DT spot that I will be leaving open.  I wish all the girls on the team lots of luck and hope they are Happy and Healthy as well.

Ok enough about me lets get to this adorable image from Meljens images. You can get this image here: I love the little baseball players cause they remind me of my 7 year old grandson who is a fanatic about baseball.  This will be his Easter card and I know he will love it.  The Theme this week at Tuesday Throwdown is Easter recipe one image, one paper and the colors of light green, peach and yellow and lavender all or some of them.  I chose the peach (skin) and the green (grass)  and the yellow for my choice of colors to use.    I do hope you will come down and play along with us this week.  We would love to  have you we have some great prizes for you to win.  And to get to the Challenge for this week here is the link for you.

So with a Sad Heart I say goodbye to Tuesday Throwdown it has been fun ladies.  Good luck to you all.
Happy Crafting all.

See you all in blog land.

For You

I am posting the cute little Elephant for The Outlawz freebie progressive challenge.  I think he is just the cutest little Elephant I have seen in a long time.  He is by Greta Steiner Designs.
I colored this with copics and the main card is dark blue.  I added some polka dot paper to make it fun and then the stripped ribbon on the bottom.  The little bow under the balloon is the only bling on the card.  I wanted this to be simple as it will be a birthday card for a little one and they love to pull of the gems and stick them in their mouths.  We sure can't have that so anything for a child I don't add much to it.  I hope you like this and come join in the Progressive challenge at the Outlawz here:  The have a different challenge for each day if your interested as well with lots of great prizes.  The tag for this is PF04.

So till next time Happy Crafting.

Key to My Heart

What a fantastic morning.  I hope everyone is having a great day.  My DT  post today is for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  This image is called Key To My Heart and you can find her in the Esty Shop here:  She is so much fun to color.  I colored her with Copics and the back ground is done with Pan Pastels and very light so not to take away from the image.  I wanted to make this one someone Classic so I went with Black and White with a little color.  The cutout on the background is a cut out that we got from one of the girls in my class so it is the only one I have till I can get the die cut itself.  It is just a beautiful cut and I love it so someday I will get it. We have a Facebook challenge as well as the monthly challenge here:  If you use an Ching-Chou Kuik image in the monthly challenge you get two entries to win.  What could be better then that?   I sure hope you like my card and will come play along with us.  Our Monthly theme is Fancy and Frills so come play along we still have lots of time.  Hope to see you all there.

Withered Roses

Well Good Morning to all you wonderful crafters.  Today I am posting for Just Inspirational Challenges here:  Our theme for this week is Flourishes and Bling.  I was afraid I went a bit far with mine but after I finally got it all done I was fairly pleased with it.    The image is from Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps and it is called Withered Roses and you can find her here at the store:  She has some absolutely wonderful images to choose from.

I colored her with copics and backed the image with hologram paper.  The lavender bling and flowers are from Want 2 Scrap and I got that at the Scrapbook expo last year.  The leaf cutouts are from Stampin-up and the flower is from Crafty City.

I hope you will come down and play along with us and join the challenge we would love to have you.

Happy Crafting to you all.  See you next time.

Embossing Folder Holder

Well Good morning to you all.  I am posting today for Tuesday Throwdown.  The theme for this week is More then one fold.  I think I sure have more then one fold on this project.  It is an embossing folder storage unit.  I was skeptical at first but now I see it does work well.  I have all but 3 of my folders in the three sections that are here.  I made it out of card board cereal boxes so it was sturdy.  I will make another set out of heavy card stock as soon as I can get really heavy card stock.  I used some designer papers from Reflections for the set.  It is an easy piece to put together and hold lots of embossing folders.  Mine is pretty sturdy with the card board I think.  It is really nice to have my folders out where I can see them, as they were in a plastic bag in a drawer.  There was a banner that went with it as well but I didn't use that as it is tiny but on the design it is pretty.  you can get this at Creations by AR. This will take you right to this folder storage:

I hope you will come join us this week at Tuesday Throwdown for our "More then one fold" Challenge here:  Good luck to you all and Happy Crafting all
