For You

I am posting the cute little Elephant for The Outlawz freebie progressive challenge.  I think he is just the cutest little Elephant I have seen in a long time.  He is by Greta Steiner Designs.
I colored this with copics and the main card is dark blue.  I added some polka dot paper to make it fun and then the stripped ribbon on the bottom.  The little bow under the balloon is the only bling on the card.  I wanted this to be simple as it will be a birthday card for a little one and they love to pull of the gems and stick them in their mouths.  We sure can't have that so anything for a child I don't add much to it.  I hope you like this and come join in the Progressive challenge at the Outlawz here:  The have a different challenge for each day if your interested as well with lots of great prizes.  The tag for this is PF04.

So till next time Happy Crafting.

Key to My Heart

What a fantastic morning.  I hope everyone is having a great day.  My DT  post today is for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  This image is called Key To My Heart and you can find her in the Esty Shop here:  She is so much fun to color.  I colored her with Copics and the back ground is done with Pan Pastels and very light so not to take away from the image.  I wanted to make this one someone Classic so I went with Black and White with a little color.  The cutout on the background is a cut out that we got from one of the girls in my class so it is the only one I have till I can get the die cut itself.  It is just a beautiful cut and I love it so someday I will get it. We have a Facebook challenge as well as the monthly challenge here:  If you use an Ching-Chou Kuik image in the monthly challenge you get two entries to win.  What could be better then that?   I sure hope you like my card and will come play along with us.  Our Monthly theme is Fancy and Frills so come play along we still have lots of time.  Hope to see you all there.

Withered Roses

Well Good Morning to all you wonderful crafters.  Today I am posting for Just Inspirational Challenges here:  Our theme for this week is Flourishes and Bling.  I was afraid I went a bit far with mine but after I finally got it all done I was fairly pleased with it.    The image is from Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps and it is called Withered Roses and you can find her here at the store:  She has some absolutely wonderful images to choose from.

I colored her with copics and backed the image with hologram paper.  The lavender bling and flowers are from Want 2 Scrap and I got that at the Scrapbook expo last year.  The leaf cutouts are from Stampin-up and the flower is from Crafty City.

I hope you will come down and play along with us and join the challenge we would love to have you.

Happy Crafting to you all.  See you next time.

Embossing Folder Holder

Well Good morning to you all.  I am posting today for Tuesday Throwdown.  The theme for this week is More then one fold.  I think I sure have more then one fold on this project.  It is an embossing folder storage unit.  I was skeptical at first but now I see it does work well.  I have all but 3 of my folders in the three sections that are here.  I made it out of card board cereal boxes so it was sturdy.  I will make another set out of heavy card stock as soon as I can get really heavy card stock.  I used some designer papers from Reflections for the set.  It is an easy piece to put together and hold lots of embossing folders.  Mine is pretty sturdy with the card board I think.  It is really nice to have my folders out where I can see them, as they were in a plastic bag in a drawer.  There was a banner that went with it as well but I didn't use that as it is tiny but on the design it is pretty.  you can get this at Creations by AR. This will take you right to this folder storage:

I hope you will come join us this week at Tuesday Throwdown for our "More then one fold" Challenge here:  Good luck to you all and Happy Crafting all

Candle Cake Flower Girl

Good Morning to you all.  Today my post is for the Talented Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamps.  She is called Candle Cake Flower Girl.  I colored her in copics and did the back ground in pan pastels.  I wanted it to be a light color just enough to show it is a background.  The background paper is new from Reflections.  The paper is already die cut for you (call that cheating)  and comes in 12 different colors and 4 different designs.  I loved the ones in the pack so had to have it.  I love the way it has the cuts in it so you can see the background card.  The flowers are by fiskars and a die cut by spellbinders.  The leaves were cut with stampin-up and spellbinders.  I added the gems for bling and the bow was an after thought as it needed just a bit more to it.

I hope you will come join us at Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps for our monthly challenge here:  This is my inspirational post for this week but the Challenge has a different theme each month and if you enter with a digi image from Ching-Chou Kuik you get two entries for a chance to win.

I do hope you will leave me some love and join my site to see what I come up with next week.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Fancy and Frills

      Good Morning to you all.
Today my post is for Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge.  This is our Monthly Challenge and the theme this month is Fancy and Frills.  My image is the book Fairy and I colored her with my copics.  The background is pan pastels and I am trying to learn to do them so if it isn't perfect I'm sorry.   I decided to go really fancy with my card of this month.  I took a Martha Stewart edge punch and punched both edges with it front and back.  I really love how it turned out, and it is the first time I have done this with a card.  I made it a 6x6 card as well with a tent fold.  I normally don't make this big of a card but it just seemed to call for it.  I use a paper doily behind the image and some ribbon on top that I got at Tuesday morning a couple of years ago.  I added a Martha Stewart Butterfly and some pearls from her as well.  The sentiment is one I have had for ages.
You can find the Challenge here: So come join us in some fun and a chance to win Ching-Chou Kuik images.  I am very partial to them.  They are stunning to say the least.  So till next Thursday Happy Crafting.

Bunny Butts Mothers Day

Good morning to you all.  I can't believe that Mothers day is so close.  This week our theme for Just Inspirational Challenge is "Mothers Day".  So I chose this adorable little girl with bunny ears to be my image for my Mothers day card.  She is called Bunny Butts and I had a ball coloring her.  You can find her at Lacy Sunshine website here:  Heather Valentine is an exceptional artist so go check out her store for some fab images.
Now on to my card.  I colored her with my copics and added her to some chevron designer paper.  I cut the word MOM with my cricut.  The bling is from Want to Scrap.  I think this card turned out so cute.  My mom passed away a long time ago so I will just give this to my grand daughter to give to her mommy.
I hope you will come join us this week at Just Inspirational Challenge.  Here is the link to hop on over to join us.

Happy Crafting to you all.  Enjoy your day.  I hope you will leave me some love and maybe become a follower of mine.

Fairy Easel Card

Today my posting is for Just Inspirational Challenges.  Our theme this month is a Shaped Card.  This is my very first easel card.  I do see how easy they really are.  I will be making lots more of them.  The image is from the Craft Place here:  They have some awesome images for sale so I suggest that you go check out their selection.

What I did is used a circle die cut from Spellbinders and left the very top just a bit past the top of the die to make the card.  Then I folded the front down half way and added the second die cut (single) to the folded front with liquid glue.  I inked the inner part of the circle before I took it out of the die cut before adding it to the other circle cut.  I die cut two smaller circles from the same set and added a flower to it.  I used a foam dot to give added demention to keep the back up.  Then I added the leaves and two flowers that I made to the front of the image circle.  I colored the image with copics and added glitter pen to the wings for bling. The second photo is one of the card from the side so you can see that it looks like.

I hope you like my card and will come play along with us at Just Inspirational Challenges this month.  Whipping up a shaped card is fun and easy so hope to see you there.

My Apple

Good morning all you wonderful crafter's!
Today I am posting for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge "Circles".  I have used the image from Robyns Fetish and you can find it here:  With the Theme being Circles I went a bit crazy with them.  I got a new die set of Circles so I  used 5 of the set to make this card.

I do love this die set.  For The background I used the wood embossing folder and black ink to darken it to look more like wood.  I colored the Apple with copics and mounted it on some Holographic paper.  The sentiment I made up myself.  I would like to invite you to come play along with us this week in our Circle challenge here:  So till then Happy Crafting.

In My thoughts

Today I am posting for Imagine that for the Monthly Progressive Challenge.  Our beautiful peacock is just a ball to color.  I used copics to color it and wow love it.  My best friends mother passed away so I decided this would make a great sympathy card.  I went CAS with it as I think it is better suited to a sympathy card.  I added just a ribbon and two small flowers to the sentiment.

Come on down and play along with us at Imagine that by Kris here:  You can find this image and so many more wonderful images at the store and she does sell worldwide even with the new VAT law over seas.  She will email you  your images so go check out the wonderful new images she has in the store.  Here is the link to find all the wonderful images Kris has drawn, she is a fantastic artist.

Catch That Ball

Hi everyone I just wanted to show you two of the latest images at Imagine That by Kris.  My grandson and granddaughter both love baseball and these are so appropriate for them.  So I made these to give to them as a surprise.  My grand daughter loves hers and so does Ben my grandson.  They display my cards to them on their dressers.  I colored them both with copics and used the Baseball that is included in the set as the embellishment.  I put an R on the ball in the little girls card because my Grand daughters name is Reese.  She loves pink so I had to make hers pink and my grandson's last team colors were red and white so thatis what he got.  The alphabet images are also from Kris and you can find those and a lot of others at the store here:

Kris is a fantastic artist and sells her images worldwide even with the VAT law over seas.  You can get all the details at the store on how to buy your images.  I know you will love them as I do.  So head on over and take a peak.  She has a progressive challenge and a Any image of hers challenge each month.  So go check it out what are you waiting for?  Ok enough from me for today go have a happy fun crafting day.

Inspirational Post by Linda "Believe"

Good morning to you all.  Today is my day for the inspirational post for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  I have chosen to do the image called "Believe"  she is beautiful but then all the images from CCK are beautiful.  It is so hard to choose what to use.
I used a yellow card stock for the base and found this gorgeous, greenish yellow glitter paper to mount the image on.  I colored the image with copics and cut it out with a spellbinders die cut.  The back ground is pan pastels and I have a friend on Facebook that is helping me learn to do the backgrounds so this isn't perfect but I am getting better each time.  I added the roses and they are some left from Crafty City.  I put 4 pearls on the image at the two sides and top and bottom.  The gold pieces are cut with my cricut from gold foil paper.  I do hope you like my card.  You can find the image here at the Etsy Store:  I do hope you will go take a look at the store to see the beautiful images she draws, she is very talented.  We also have a Facebook group if you want to play along there as well.  The facebook group is here: and we have the monthly challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik as well  here:  So that is all for me for today see you again next Thursday.

Happy Crafting.

Miss Fix it

Good morning to you all.  Today is my post for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge this week with a theme of Metal.
My miss fix it is from Sassy Studios and you can get her here:  As I said our theme this week is Metal.  My metal on my card is aluminum foil that I put thro the cuddlebug with a folder for the background.  I then cut out some gears to go with her as she is Miss Fix it.  I colored her with copics and rounded the edges of the image and inked the edgers to go with the gears.  The sentiment is mine and printed on the computer.  It actually was an after thought.  I had the card all photographed and ready to put on here when the thought popped into my head for the sentiment so back to the computer I went.  Here is the result.  I really like how she turned out and hope you do as well.  And I hope you will come down and play along with us this week at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge "Use Metal"  here is a link for you to get to our challenge site.  So no excuses go get some metal and play along.  I can't wait to see what you all come up with.  See you there!!  Happy Crafting.
