Steampunk Snowman

Hello everyone,

Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society with Artist Sherri Baldy.  Sherri is a very talented Artist and I love her images.
Our theme this week is Anything goes and I want to invite you all over to play.  You can make any type of card or project that your little heart desires.  What a great thing for those who only scrapbook or do multimedia or what ever project you can come up with.  Doesn't that sound like fun!!! So come on down and play along with us for a chance to win some of Sherri's wonderful images. The Challenge is here.
Now on to my sweet Steampunk Snowman!

You can't get cuter then this now can you?

I used a die cut from Stamp-in up to cut this into the shape of a stocking for my snowman.  I cut gears out of Silver shinny paper from Spellbinders and the big snowflake is a stamp-in up die cut as well.  I got that from a friend that passed away a couple of years ago.  The small snowflake is a Fiskars tiny punch but works great and I use it every year. I also added some sequence to the front of my card for extra bling.  You can never have to much bling.  Of course I colored my snowman with copics.
The base is white so decided to use bright red for the layer and it is just a scrap that I had in my scrap bin.  (and it is a full scrap bin and I have been trying to use lots of it lately)

I do hope you will come play along this week at our challenge.  Also I hope you will leave me some comments on my cards as I do read them all.  Thank you for taking time out of your day to join me at my blog.  Have a wonderful crafting day.

Happy Halloween everyone.

Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society .
I chose a little vampire to color.  I love how this little guy turned out.  Our theme this week as you can guess is Halloween so I hope you will join in the fun with us and show us your creation.
Here is my little Vampire who I have named Scorcher.

Come on now you have to admit he is adorable....  What fun he and his batty friends were to color.
And black flowers were a hoot to make.  First time for everything I guess.  I colored him with my copics and cut him out with a spellbinders die cut.  The flowers are Heartfelt creations and the swirls are spellbinders as well. This one will be for my grandson for Halloween.  I do hope you like my Vampire and will leave me some love.
I am inviting you all to come play along at the Challenge here, for a chance to win some digi's from Sherri.  Her digi's are always so much fun to color!!!  So I hope to see you there so I can comment on your wonderful creations.

See you soon and happy crafting till next time.

Good Afternoon to you all!

I was doing some posting when I realized I hadn't posted my latest creation for LeAnn's World 101.  I have been coloring images for her to put into her store and neglected my blog for a few weeks.  Well I will remedy that now.
This beautiful image (drawn by LeAnn) is Ruthie.  What a sweet image to color.

She looks like she is going to her senior prom.  All dressed up in her beautiful red dress.  I wanted to do some fancy new die cuts I have gotten recently so there are two on here.  The one in the back is covered up mostly but you can still see the outside edges of it and the one over her is a different one.  Both cut from gold papers.  Funny as both were in the same pack but this one sheet was a shade darker (suppose to be all one color)
You can find this and a lot more wonderful images in the Esty store here. I will be posting more as I get more made into cards...  Look for a new release of some great Halloween images this week.

I would like to invite you to also join us on Facebook at LeAnns World 101

So till next time Happy Crafting to you all

Here is what the original image looked like before coloring. This gives you an idea of what you can do with this sweet image

Poppy Power Pink Clematis

Hi everyone I am going to post the second image that I did for the challenge over at Poppy Power Blog.  Like the first one it is themed: "background"
This time I colored the image with copics then used eye shadow for the background.  I sprayed it with hair spray to keep it from rubbing off.  I wanted a soft look so I use light colors to do that with. I sure hope you like it.  I know it is the same flower but I love this flower and will use this as a birthday or maybe a get well card.  I rarely put sentiments on my cards till I use them so I can use them for what ever I need.  So without further ado here is my card.

I  am not sure which one I like best so I won't choose.  I like how both turned out though.

I will enter this into the challenge at Poppy Power blog here.

I hope you have enjoyed your stay with me today and will come back soon.  So till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Poppy Power Clematis

Well good morning to you all.  Its been a while since I have posted anything here so today I have two to post so I hope you will grab your coffee or what ever your drinking and catch up with me.

Today I am posting a card for a challenge over at Poppy Power Blog. The theme is make a background.  Well that happens to be one of my favorite things to do so I decided to join the fun and I made two.  Here is my first one.

I love this flower and it is actually part of a bigger image that I cut down.  I made this for a friend of mine who has been down for a while and I hope it will cheer her up.  Her favorite color is blue.  I have never seen a blue Clematis so I decided to make the butterfly blue.  I used copics to color this and the flower was masked off then I used Ranger oxide inks to do the background.  The bling is some I had in my stash and not sure where they came from.  I had to cut it down as I printed it at 5x7 but that was so big I couldn't layer it so I just cut off a lot of the outside and re-inked it to match the rest.

If you want to you can come play along at Poppy Power, you don't need to use one of there  images but get the chance to win some.  This is one of there images and one of my favorites.  Here is the link to there challenge if you want to come play.

I hope you have enjoyed my post for today and will check out the other one for Poppy Power Challenge.

So till next time happy crafting.

Dry Embossing Image 593

Good morning to you all.  Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society.
Our theme this week is Embossing dry or wet.  I chose dry embossing for my little painter and the item I embossed is a paint sample from Home Depot.  I thought it was appropriate.  He is just a wonderful image to color.  I recently painted my main bathroom so I chose colors for that.  So without further ado, here is my Image 593 for this week.

Now isn't he just adorable...  I love how he turned out and since I will probably use him for a birthday card I decided to wait to put on the sentiment till I need it.  I colored him in copics and layered him on the paint sample with a red layer behind that. The paint sample is what I decided to emboss for the challenge.  I'm sorry not  a lot of it shows but it is there.. I chose the bright yellow/green card to go with his shirt.  The red and yellow buttons are for the shirt and the hat.  I hope you will come play along with us this week in our challenge to win some great images by Sherri Baldy.  Here is the link to the challenge.  I do hope you will join us.

So till next time all Happy Crafting...

Hi everyone welcome to my corner of the world.
Today I am posting to remind you of the Challenge over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society.
The theme of our team today is Use and animal in our card or project.  I did a card and used my butterfly die cut.  I have several butterfly die cuts but this one by Stampin-up is my favorite.  I actually bought two so if one breaks or quits cutting I have a spare.  Here is my image for this theme.

I had such fun coloring this beautiful image.  She is done with copics of course as I very seldom use anything else now.  I wanted her to be really colorful for fall and the butterflies are cut from glitter paper and they are so outstanding I love them.  There are some cards that us crafters make that you just don't want to give up and this maybe one for me. I really love how she turned out.  I outlined her in pale blue to make her outstanding and didn't do a background on her.  No bling either as the butterflies were the bling.  I do hope you like her and will leave me a comment. I do read them all.

Here is the link to the challenge for you to come play along.  And you can find this and so so many other wonderful images in Sherri's Esty store here.  I am inviting you to go take a peek and be ready to spend some time as she has thousands of images.  So crafters till next time Happy Crafting to you all.
