Good after noon to you all. I wanted to do a posting today since I haven't had one for a few days. I have been working on making some note cards to set up as a gift for Christmas gifts and this is one of them. They image and sentiment is one I got from My Whimsical little world on Facebook. Paola is a very generous person to give out a freebie almost every week and some times more often. She is really talented and does some cute videos on how she colors hers as well. I didn't follow hers exactly but did my own thing. For one I didn't have the same colors copics that she used so hence a different look but that is fine with me. I used some distress inks for the edges and copics to color the cup and the sentiment I used a glitter pen in gold. The background is gold holographic paper and I did the inside as well. Yes I am working on Christmas gifts already as it takes me time. Plus I am doing my Christmas cards too. Busy, busy, busy, that would be me at this time of year. I have lots of ideas for different gifts and I just may go to the local flea market and see if I can sell some there too.
Well that is it for today I sure hope you like my card.
Hey everyone. Today I am posting a card I made for the October challenge at Imagine That by Kris. This is a progressive challenge so if you played last month you got this image or this month. If you want to play along then you can go to the shop and purchase this and play along then next month you will get the new one. I am calling this the Pink Christmas. I just thought a non traditional Christmas color was what this kitten needed. She is just adorable and I will use this for one of my grand daughters that loves pink. I colored the image with copics and used all pint for the card. The sentiment is from the set and the gems are from my stash.
I hope that you will come play along with us at Imagine That by Kris here: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/ We would love to have you join us this month. You can purchase the image at the same site.
Hi all you wonderful crafters!!! Today I am showing my inspirational card called "Exotic Nights" It is by the very talented Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps. You can purchase this stamp here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/gjzcck.
If you enter with one of her stamps then you can get two chances to win or if you want to enter with another stamp you still get the chance to win the monthly prize.
This card almost went into the trash, let me explain, first of all it was laying on my desk (not completely colored yet an I was testing a pen to see if it would write and the image was partially covered so I didn't see it there. I had 3 lines on the corner of the card. So I thought Ok maybe I can still save it so I colored it and after I did the back ground with Pan Pastels you have to use a fixative to make it stay there. So I grabbed what I thought was the hair spray I use and it turned out to be a sticky spray that I use on my cricut matt to reuse it. So NOW I thought I am going to have to redo the whole thing. I had taken out some gems earlier for another project and the film covering was laying there so I just layed it over the card and pressed it down and would you believe it stuck? So I saved the card with that. You can't see it in the film in the photo thank goodness but I love how she turned out. The two bugs on here are cut from the piece of foil over the coffee cans to keep the coffee fresh. I love the texture they have. I used two of the tops and cut a bunch of stuff out. Anyway I saved my card and love it and hope you do as well.
So come on down and play along with us. We also have a challenge on our facebook page as well if you want to play along there too!

I colored this with copics and mounted it on a green die cut from I believe it is spellbinders die cut. It is a cut that my friend has and we exchange die cuts so we don't have to buy all of them. The flowers are from an RAK site that I belong to on Facebook. The swirl is from my cricut machine. The gems are from Joanne's dollar bin. The butterfly is a new die cut from Spellbinders. I hope you like my card and will leave me some love.
So your invited to play along and come visit my blog as well. Till then Happy Crafting to you all!!
Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a fine day today. I want to show you a card I did with "Maggies Apples" from Imagine That by Kris. This is the colored version of this set and it is the set for our September Progressive Challenge. I did some shading on it but It is just the way I like it and if you don't want to do that then you can leave it just as it is and it is perfect for a quick card. I think any child would love to receive this card in the mail. I used the PNG image for this and merged it with the background paper so no cutting here just trimmed it off and glued it to the border punched background paper. I added the butterfly that I got in an RAK and the ladybug as well from a different RAK. The sentiment is one from the set too. You can purchase this set (if you haven't gotten into our Progressive challenge and play along with us this month. The set is available here: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/
Here is what you get when you buy this set. Maggie is so adorable how can you resist her? Come on down and play along with us. I sure hope to see you all there. Till then Happy Crafting.
Hey Crafters like the set above? You can get this adorable image called Trudy in this set and make an sweet card like I did. This set is from "Imagine that By Kris" here: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/.
Kris has drawn this cute set to put into her store but I wanted to show you what you can do with this cute set. there is Ted and Trudy and you can see my card of Ted on my blog from a couple of days ago. I just love these images and I will be sending this to my grand daughter who went to preK 4 this year. She loves to get cards in the mail so this will be for her. I colored it with copic and added some scrap papers for a background. the butterflies are a new die cut from Darice and the tails are black gems I got at the Expo this year. I hope you will go look at the store and see what wonderful images she has.
I do hope you enjoy my card and it makes you smile. Happy Crafting to you all!!1
Well good morning to you all. It has been a while since I posted something that is not connected to my DT positions so here is a new card from me. It is for the progressive challenge at the Outlawz. You can find that challenge here:http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com. I love that I get a new image to work with each month from the progressive challenges that I do. The tag for this one is PF10 and the image name is Flower Children Image #4. The image is from Nicecrane. and you can find her there. I colored her with copic of course and the back ground paper is from an embossing folder but I have no clue what the name of it is. Then I cut a doily out of yellow to go with the image and used a yellow gross grain ribbon with white polka dots on it to go around the background paper. The flower is a small die cut that I bought a while ago an is from spellbinders. It is not a lot of fun to put together as it is pretty small. I topped it with a gem that I got from an RAK that I belong to on Facebook. Another fun group!! The gems are some I purchased at Pat Catan's in Ohio when I was on vacation this summer. I hope you like my card as well. I also want to add this to the Anything goes challenge at Through the craft room door challenge here: http://ttcrd.blogspot.com/. Happy Crafting to you all.....
Good morning, Welcome to my web site. Today I am showcasing my image from Ching-Chou Kiuk Stamps. You can buy her here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/gjzcck?
I colored her with my copics and cut her out with a spellbinders die cut. The flower is a stamp and I don't remember where it came from. I just stamped red card stock to get the look of a poinsettia. I cut the leaves from a stampin-up die cut. The background red is a die cut from a friend. We do swap our die cuts and stamps it saves a lot!! This one I really like. I did the back ground of the image with pan pastels and light colors and sprayed it. I accidentally sprayed it with a sticky spray that I use for my cricket pad when I do my cutting so I resprayed it with the hair spray and it saved it. I will pay more attention to what I am using from now on. I hope you will come play along with us in our Monthly blog here:http://cck-digitalstamps-challenge.blogspot.com/.
If you use one of Ching-Chou Kuik's stamps you will be entered twice but you can use any image to enter, and we also have a facebook challenge here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/721131444589832/.
I hope to see you on the challenge blog and also the facebook page. Come along and play with us.
Hey all you sweet crafters!! Today I have an image that Kris at Imagine That has created for you for all your back to school kids. This is Ted from the back to school set. I made the background using a background stamp by Stampin up that was given to me by my best friend. (she is the culprit who got me into Card Making) I live the image and will send it to my grandson as he has returned to school. I just used some dark brown ribbon on the corner and a couple of buttons for bling. The sentiment is with the set too. There is a colored image as well as the lined drawing which I used. I love to color but I do occasionally use the colored images that she includes in the sets. You can find this set here at her store: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/
I am inviting you to go check out the store and see how many wonderful images Kris has to offer. She is very talented and does some great images for lots of occasions.
Here is the set you get when you purchase this set:
Good Morning to all of you. Today my post is for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps. You can get this stamp here at Ching- Chou Kuik Esty store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/gjzcck/search?search_query=Dreamy+Lily. This is for our monthly theme "Fall Colors" . I used the oranges and browns in my image but the flowers reminded me of Day Lillies and I love there brilliant orange colors. I tried to color them the way I remember them to be. I didn't want the owl to be the same color as the hair (as you would not have seen him) So I made him a snow owl. I know my daughter would love this card as she loves owls. I colored it with Copics. I decided to do a easel card this time and punched the edges with a fiskars border punch. I used stickers for the flower to hold the card in place with some of the same colors as in the image. I got the ribbon from a garage sale and unfortunately it is the last of this color. I do hope you will come over to the website and play along with us. You can use any image but you get two entries if you use a Ching-Chou Kuik image. The challenge is here:http://cck-digitalstamps-challenge.blogspot.com/. I hope to see you all there. Till then Happy Crafting to you all!!
Good Morning to you all. Today is September 1st and I have a card that I want to show you for some inspiration from Imagine That by Kris. I think it represents fall very well. And as much as we hate to admit it, it is coming fast. It is still pretty hot here in Florida and won't cool down for a while but up North burr it is coming quickly!
I colored my image with copics and used some of the background paper that Kris has included in our set of this month. She has colored image and line drawings which this one is. Also the sentiment came from the set as well. This will be our progressive set for this month. I added some swirls and buttons to the card for some bling. I really didn't want to take away from "Maggie the Cow and her Apples" You can find the set here:http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/.
I do hope you will come down to the website above and join the fun and next month you will get your image free. If you haven't played along before you can purchase this set and enter this month and from then on as long as you play each month with the set Kris chooses to send to you, you will get the new set each month free. I have done the progressive challenges for a long time an have built my stash of free images up to well over 100 now. I don't stamp a lot but sure do love the digi images as they take up so much less room. So come play along with us and join in the fun!!!! Here is what is in this set. Sweet is it not??
Good Morning to you all. I am so happy to showcase this adorable image for you. She is called "Girl on a Floaty" and I have used the colored image here. I added a bit of shading to the hair but other then that it is all. The surf board is from another set of beach images from Kris. The sentiment is from this set as well. You can interchange the images for these cute digi's. I hope you will come play along with us at the monthy progressive challenge. And that you had gotten the freebie at the store site to play along then you can play next month as well. I hope you like my card and will go to the store and check it out. Here is the site address: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/
The promo is here below so it gives you an idea of what you will get.
Today I am posting this little beauty for the Outlawz Progressive Challenge PF09 here:http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/groups/group/show?groupUrl=freebie-progressive-challenge. It is a great group to get into. She is from Make it Crafty and is called Wishful Asha. I colored her with my copics and mounted her on a background paper from Recollections from Michaels. The black die cuts are from my cricut and the flowers on top are from a swap on Make it Crafty. The flower on the bottom is a die cut from Spellbinders and a friend gave me a bunch of them. I used glitter glue on the flowers on her head and the puff the butterfly is on plus the butterfly but it really doesn't show on here. I hope you like my card and will leave me some love. I think she is just adorable and a great image to color.
I am also going to use this card to enter into a design team call for Make it Crafty so wish me luck.
Our monthly theme for this month is "A Floral Display", you can get all the rules and details on the website for the challenge above. I do hope you will come play along with us this month for a chance to win some beautiful images.
I colored my image with copics and wanted to try and get a vintage look to it so I added ribbon and lace and some gems to it, for some bling. The background paper is by Romantique and I got it online. It is a very romantic looking paper.
I do hope you will leave me a comment ( I do read them all)on what you think and maybe if your not already become a follower of mine. Until next time Happy Crafting.
