Hi everyone welcome to my corner of the world.
Today I am posting to remind you of the Challenge over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society.
The theme of our team today is Use and animal in our card or project.  I did a card and used my butterfly die cut.  I have several butterfly die cuts but this one by Stampin-up is my favorite.  I actually bought two so if one breaks or quits cutting I have a spare.  Here is my image for this theme.

I had such fun coloring this beautiful image.  She is done with copics of course as I very seldom use anything else now.  I wanted her to be really colorful for fall and the butterflies are cut from glitter paper and they are so outstanding I love them.  There are some cards that us crafters make that you just don't want to give up and this maybe one for me. I really love how she turned out.  I outlined her in pale blue to make her outstanding and didn't do a background on her.  No bling either as the butterflies were the bling.  I do hope you like her and will leave me a comment. I do read them all.

Here is the link to the challenge for you to come play along.  And you can find this and so so many other wonderful images in Sherri's Esty store here.  I am inviting you to go take a peek and be ready to spend some time as she has thousands of images.  So crafters till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Monochrome lady

Hi everyone.  Today is my day to post a reminder for the Challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  Out theme this week for the DT is Monochrome.  I  did mine with a darling image I know you will love.  You can find her in the Besties Esty store here.

Sherri has hundreds of wonderful images to choose from.  Lots of different categories to look at so take your time and go have a look.  I know you will find lots to love.

I used all the colors of the E family to do this image and that is my copics.  I really love how she looks.  The back ground is a grunge stamp by Stampin-up which I love.  The sentiment is an older stamp set and I have no idea who it is by because I threw away the paper work.  Shame on me!  I thought it went well with the image tho.  I mounted her on a cream colored paper and the base card is dark brown to go with the hair.    I do hope you like her.  I know I do and I have the perfect lady to sent this to that is a coffee drinker.
I do hope you will come join in the fun at the challenge and join us on Face book as well.
Here is the link to find the challenge to play along with us. Please come join us.
Thanks for joining me in my little craft corner of the world.  Happy Crafting all.

Till next time.

Good Morning all.  I do hope your having a good day.  Today's post will be short as I am off and running for the weekend. I do hope you have a wonderful weekend as well.

Today is Surfer by LeAnn of LeAnn's World 101.
Isn't he just the cutest little surfer?

I colored him with my copics and mounted him on some designer paper from Recollections.  The pelican, grasses and shell are from my sticker collections that I have saved over the years.  The background was done using eye shadow.  You can find this little man in the Esty Store here.
I do hope you will go have a look around an see all the wonderful images she has and she adds more each month.  We do have a progressive challenge as well as a facebook page so come visit and meet all the wonderful people.
So till next time Happy Crafting and have a wonderful weekend.

Good Morning to each and everyone of you!!

I hope you have your coffee and will enjoy my little corner of the world with me.

Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society and our theme is SUMMER.
I have chosen a sweet image to color for you .  I wonder do any of you remember the song My Coat of many colors by Dolly Pardon?  Well if not when I saw this image I decided to do it as an image of many colors so I used as many as I could.  I do hope you like it and that it reminds you of summer and fun days.  So here she is my lady of many colors.
Isn't she just wonderful?  She loves her little dog too.  What fun she was to color, and I did that in copics too.  I wanted to add some flowers to her too and those are some from Heartfelt Creations.  The centers are the Viva Yellow pearl pen.  The black is part of another die cut that I used the other part on another card.  I do cut up my dies and use them in as many ways as I can.  She is mounted on a bright yellow card base with the funky background paper.  I thought it set off the image and drew your eye right to her.  I don't know how everyone decides what papers to use but I do my image then hold it up to different papers till one catches my eye that looks good.  I usually can find a paper pretty quickly to use.  I would be really interested to know how you do yours, so leave me a comment if you would please and let me know.

I would like to invite you to come over to our Blog challenge and play along as well as our Facebook page too.  Our blog challenge can be found here. So make a card or project and come play along.

Till next time Happy Crafting.

The Glow of Dogwoods

Hi everyone,  I am entering the Power Poppy’s Creative Confetti Challenge.   I bought a new set of stamps from Poppy Power and decided to color them up in a color close to my birth stone.  Which is Peridot. and that is a very light green unfortunately I don't have a picture of the color to post here.   I want to enter this in there challenge Here.

Here is the first card I did with this stamp set.

I love  how soft this turned out and that is what I was going for.  I had several dogwood trees in my yard years ago and they were this color with a soft hue of pink.  I tried to get as close to those colors as possible.  One of the girls in the Design team of Poppy power does a video on how to get this flowers on and around the word  "Love" but when you buy the set you get this image along with the rest of the set.  I will try to do this on my own with other words but had to try this one first.  I colored it with markers using the yellow-greens.  The pink is R30 and very light.  I colored the pearls in the YG11 and put them on the card for bling.  The center of each flower has some stickles on it for bling as well.  Other then that it is just a plain and simple card.  Took no time to color an put together.  I do hope you all like it as much as I do.  Thanks for looking and till next time HAPPY CRAFTING!

I will be entering the challenge at

The Vase and Hat

Hi everyone, I'm back to post my second creation using my new stamp set from Poppy Power  well it is new to me not sure it is new for them.  I will also enter this in there challenge there on the Blog.

I love this image and love how it turned out.  I put silver holographic paper behind it with the die cut and it sure doesn't show how beautiful it is on camera but in person it is stunning.  Have you ever made a card and then didn't want to give it away or sell it?  Well this is one of those cards.  I made it into a 5x7 and I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card.  I only added 3 small pearls for bling.  I added crystals to the center of each of the flowers too.  I colored it with copics and mounted it on ruby red card base.

I want to enter this into Power Poppy’s Creative Confetti Challenge here.

Come on down and join in the fun at Poppy Power.  They have some of the most beautiful images of flowers to color of any I have seen anywhere.  I love there stamps.  So till next time thanks for stopping by my craft world and Happy Crafting.

Faux Stitching

Hi Everyone I sure hope your having a great day.  I want to thank you for coming to my corner of the craft world and taking time to look around.  I hope you will leave me a comment to let me know you have been here.
Today I am posting for Sherri Baldy and the Scrapbook Stamp Society. This is the image I chose for our theme Faux stitching.  I can only do faux stitching as my sewing machine is in the closet packed away maybe never to be found.  LOL  But faux works for me just as well.  I colored this sweet image in all monochrome for another challenge I was doing.  I really like how she turned out too.  (not to blow my own horn however)
I colored her with my copics and tried to add a bit of color to make her pop out with the base and background papers.  She was a bit plain so I added some flowersby Heartfelt Creations and the leaves are die cuts by Stampin up.  The paper I used was done in Ranger oxide inks in yellow and oranges and browns so they pretty much matched the theme I was going for. Even tho you can't see to much of them they are so pretty in real life.
I do hope you will go over and play in our challenge here and find us on Facebook as well.  We would love to see your creations using Sherri's images.  You can find this and so many more images in the Esty store as well and you can find it here.

Well I will say goodbye for now and see you next time.  Happy Crafting to one and all of you.
