Christmas Candle

This is a candle that I added the image using tissue paper.  First I taped the tissue paper to a piece of printer paper with an inch or so over the edge to be able to tape it down so it will go through the printer without tearing.  I used a digital image I got as a freebie on the internet.  You could color any image then scan it to put it back into your computer to print out already colored as I did that with the other image, but I put it on a darker candle that I had and the image doesn't show all that well.  I then cut out the image (I printed two different images at the same time) and with my heat tool on the low setting I heated the image till it melted into the candle. This only takes a few seconds you don't want to leave it to long in one spot or the candle will melt to much. If you get some bubbles you can smooth them out with your fingers as it cools a bit.   I found a few different videos on utube for the directions so if you want to watch a video just hop onto utube under crafts or decorating candles and you should find them. These would make great birthday gifts (with a birthday image of course :)) and wonderful Christmas gifts which I intend to use them for.  I am very happy with the way this turned out for my first try. Now to hit the dollar store tomorrow for more candles.  I hope you all like this and try it.  Happy Crafting.
