Batter Up!!

Good Morning all my crafting Friends good to see you again.  Thanks for showing up to see my little baseball boy.  This card will be for my grandsons 6th birthday as he is so into baseball.  The image is from DigiDarla and the challenge this week is Favorite Things.  These are my favorite things to do on a card.  First of all my favorite color is guess ??  Ok I will tell you it is Green!  My favorite technique is embossing,  here is the dry embossing but I love the heat embossing as well.  And my two favorite embellishments are brads and buttons.  I didn't want to make this card to fussy because it is for my grandson.  It is nice to be able to do one for a challenge and then use the card as well for something special.  I colored the image with Prisma colored Pencils and OMS.  I cut it with a spellbinders die and inked the edges.  I tried to color one brad to look like a baseball but it was  disaster and found it way into the trash.  They do have yellow baseballs I swear I have seen them somewhere.  LOL  Well all I hope you have enjoyed my card and my blog and hope you will leave some love.  If your not a follower I would love for you to become one and I will come follow you.  Just leave me your blog addy and I will show up soon.
