Poppy Power Clematis

Well good morning to you all.  Its been a while since I have posted anything here so today I have two to post so I hope you will grab your coffee or what ever your drinking and catch up with me.

Today I am posting a card for a challenge over at Poppy Power Blog. The theme is make a background.  Well that happens to be one of my favorite things to do so I decided to join the fun and I made two.  Here is my first one.

I love this flower and it is actually part of a bigger image that I cut down.  I made this for a friend of mine who has been down for a while and I hope it will cheer her up.  Her favorite color is blue.  I have never seen a blue Clematis so I decided to make the butterfly blue.  I used copics to color this and the flower was masked off then I used Ranger oxide inks to do the background.  The bling is some I had in my stash and not sure where they came from.  I had to cut it down as I printed it at 5x7 but that was so big I couldn't layer it so I just cut off a lot of the outside and re-inked it to match the rest.

If you want to you can come play along at Poppy Power, you don't need to use one of there  images but get the chance to win some.  This is one of there images and one of my favorites.  Here is the link to there challenge if you want to come play.

I hope you have enjoyed my post for today and will check out the other one for Poppy Power Challenge.

So till next time happy crafting.
