Orchid in Spring

Good Morning to all my wonderful followers. 

 Today my post is for Ching--Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.  She is Called Orchid in Spring and she is for our monthly challenge.  This month our Theme is " Pearls and Lace".

I chose this image for the flowers that remind me of Spring.  My favorite thing is to color flowers of any kind and to see if I can make them look real.  I have lots of Orchids and one this color and love it.  I used that for my color scheme.  The lace is from my stash and think it looks like a petal for a flower. (not an Orchid petal tho)  I used copics to color her and mounted her on a doily and a circle cut from my spellbinders die cut.  (The side step card is one I learned to do from Christina from Card making magic.  So simple you make a reg card 5x7 the decide where you want your image and cut next to it half way done then fold both ways and push to the center and you have a step card with no measuring. I thought it was so simple I had to try it and it works like a charm!)
