Squares Challenge Poppy Power

Good afternoon everyone. 

I found a photo on Facebook this morning and read the post... To my surprise it was talking about a challenge over at Poppy Power...  They have the most gorgeous flower images I have ever seen.  I have a few of them but not a lot.  I do tend to color the same ones over and over.  I did buy the crab tree branches and that is what I have chosen to do for my card in the challenge.  I do hope you will come over and join us...  

Here is my take on their theme. 

I was skeptical at first on this type of card as it is my first one.  But I do like how it turned out..  I will do more of these with different images too.  

I colored the image with my copics and then cut it up (which was going against all my senses)  Once I got it on the card I was ok with it.  I added some enamel dots and the enamel heart.  I looked at it and it seemed a bit plain so I added the gems to the centers of the flowers and that made all the difference in the world.   I do hope you like my card and will come play along at the Challenger and you can find it here:
