Summer

Good Morning to each and everyone of you!!

I hope you have your coffee and will enjoy my little corner of the world with me.  

Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society and our theme is SUMMER.  

I have chosen a sweet image to color for you .  I wonder do any of you remember the song My Coat of many colors by Dolly Pardon?  Well if not when I saw this image I decided to do it as an image of many colors so I used as many as I could.  I do hope you like it and that it reminds you of summer and fun days.  So here she is my lady of many colors. 

Isn't she just wonderful?  She loves her little dog too.  What fun she was to color, and I did that in copics too.  I wanted to add some flowers to her too and those are some from Heartfelt Creations.  The centers are the Viva Yellow pearl pen.  The black is part of another die cut that I used the other part on another card.  I do cut up my dies and use them in as many ways as I can.  She is mounted on a bright yellow card base with the funky background paper.  I thought it set off the image and drew your eye right to her.  I don't know how everyone decides what papers to use but I do my image then hold it up to different papers till one catches my eye that looks good.  I usually can find a paper pretty quickly to use.  I would be really interested to know how you do yours, so leave me a comment if you would please and let me know.
